Dorktacular weekend for me! I played the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" XBox game quite a bit yesterday, in between doing laundry and some dishes. Today Geoffrey and I saw "Lord the the Rings, The Two Towers" which was very good. Even better than the first one, I daresay. It seemed to go by a little faster, anyway. The movie started a little late because the projectionist had been in a car wreck, the manager told us, so we had to wait for another one to come in. I thought about offering my superior projectionist skillz, but I wasn't sure they used the same kind of projector we had at the movie theater where I worked, and, um, well, that was high school, eons ago, and I wasn't sure I remembered how to thread a movie now. I'd have felt bad if I'd gotten it all tangled up and ruined their LOTR print. The many dorks in the theater with us for the 11 a.m. show would have been crushed, perhaps forced back into the D&D fold to deal with their grief.

Lots of fun visits this week. Geoffrey's dad stayed with us Wednesday night, and Laura Loo-Loo, Queen o' the Boo-Boos was here Monday night. Always fun to have folks around.

I think my Christmas shopping is complete. Which is weird, seeing as how it's not 11:53 p.m. on Christmas Eve. I've been better about that the past couple of years. God bless the Internet, I tell ya. Online shopping in your jammies -- safe from the perils of horrible Christmas muzak and madding crowds -- is the best.

Guess that's about it. Gettin' time to head over to Don Pablo's and let the Thursday-night $3 margarita drinking commence. Fiesta!
